Sasusaku Month/ Sarada Uchiha Week.
.
Prompt: An outsider’s POV / freestyle.
.
Title: To see that smile once more.
.
Summary: As he held his new born daughter close to his chest protectively and smiled at his wife, Karin saw her deepest desire being fulfilled. Sarada’s birth and Sasuke and Sakura’s relationship as seen through the eyes of Karin Uzumaki.
The air breezed lightly, carrying the particles of sand along with it. Large birds could be seen flying high in the sky for the temperature was moderate in the always burning land of the Wind Nation. And such weather itself was a proof of spring being on its way. But the calm wind, restful birds and the soft, peaceful rustle of the rare-found plants in the ever tropical Southern region was brutally interrupted by a loud scream that came out of Orochimaru’s hideout, which resulted in the vultures and hawks flying away in a haphazard manner and the peace of the atmosphere turning into a woeful, wordless, ballad.
.
Another loud, painful cry escaped the lips of Uchiha Sakura, who was in the middle of fighting life and death inside the hideout of the snake sannin. The pinkette had, surely, faced and fought countless hurtful events in her life but even if she had the strength of breaking boulders and bones, this event was utterly aching, even for her.
.
“Push, Sakura! Push!”, exclaimed a worried yet determined red-haired woman. Her eyes, as seen through the lens of her glasses, held nothing more than sympathy and unwavering resolve. A resolve that kept on telling her that even though, it was her very first time delivering a child and she had no experience with it whatsoever, she was not going to fail, no matter what.
.
“Aah!”, another loud cry echoed through the empty room as tears started to fall from the emerald, green eyes of the female Uchiha.

A/N: I tried to get this out for ssmonth but couldn’t manage to
before a very important visit arrived! Oh well, at least I still whipped this
out ahhaa. I think many of you will love this one 🙂
“Those two are impossible.”
Never looking up from his forever-favored
little orange novel, Kakashi merely hummed in reply, distractedly stirring his
chopsticks into his miso soup’s steaming broth. “Give them time, Naruto,” he
drawled. “It’s only been six months since he came back from his journey.”But his former student didn’t seem to feel
the same, throwing his arms up expressively. “Exactly, Kaka-sensei—it’s been six months!” he exclaimed. Naruto leaned
his head back against the frame of the chair, groaning hopelessly. “What the hell
is Sasuke doing?”At this, Kakashi glanced at him, lips
tugging lightly under his mask. Naruto only proceeded to lean forward again and
shove a handful of noodles into his mouth, features annoyed. It was just like
him to get frustrated that things weren’t moving along fast enough between his
two best friends.“Sasuke is healing and trying to put his
life back in order,” Kakashi calmly settled to explain, returning to his
beloved book. He absentmindedly poked at a piece of grilled eggplant. “He’s
spent years away from us on a path that he knows now did neither him nor anyone
else any good, and now he’s trying to come to terms with all that.”A snort of pure
disbelief sounded beside him. “Oh come on,
he’s had two years to work through that—and you know he’s been doing great
lately!”That was true
enough. Still, Kakashi simply shrugged in response. “Maybe not well enough to
his standards.”

SASUSAKU MONTH: DAY TWENTY TWO AND TWENTY THREE
An Outsider’s Point of View/ It was Always You
“I guess you really look beautiful with that pink hair, and most when you do your best. You did well forehead.”
Hahaha. This looks like a draft that was supposed to be furnished but wasn’t done. Hahahah. I was thinking of using Naruto or Kakashi, but I thought Ino would seem to see them like this as she likes Sasu, and she’s friends with Sakura. I probably haven’t conveyed my idea well. As usual, please just ignore the errors. Hahahha.

“Let us welcome Uzumaki Naruto, the best man, to give the classic best man’s speech!”
The blonde grinned as he took the center stage. “You guys have no idea how long I waited to get this chance to be Sasuke’s best man and give this speech, ‘ttebayo.”
The audience laughed and the groom just smirked at his best friend.
“As all of you know, teme and I have been friends since our diaper days. And so, he’s my companion in everything. I’ve seen his best and worst days as he has seen mine. But most of all, I’ve seen him fall in love with Sakura-chan, even before he realized it.”
Cheers erupted from everyone. The bride just laughed and rested her head on her husband’s shoulder.
“We became classmates with Sakura-chan back in kindergarten. I wanted to sit beside Sasuke, but the teacher wanted a boy-girl-boy-girl seating arrangement. And so Sakura-chan was between us. I wanted to protest, but what did teme say to me?
Shut up, dobe.”
Naruto did a perfect Sasuke imitation the crowd laughed once again.
“I do not sound like that,” Sasuke grumbled.
“Sometimes you do, Sasuke-kun,” his wife replied.
“Not long after, the three of us became best friends. I’ve always noticed that Sasuke treated Sakura differently compared to other people especially the other girls – in a good way of course. He gets annoyed easily, as many of you know, with the fangirls. I don’t even get it why he has them, honestly. I mean, he’s a jerk, right?”
“Dobe…” Sasuke threatened.
“Shut it, teme. This is my time to shine. Besides, if there’s someone who could tell your love story with Sakura-chan, it’s me. I practically grew up with it and you can’t deny that.”
He wanted to give him a punch but stayed as Sakura intertwined their hands. Just like that, he was calm once more.
“Sakura-chan is not like other girls, of course. I may be the best friend, but those two have a special bond unique to them. I’m considered as the dumb one, but I knew they were in love with each other. And the exasperating part? They deny it all the time.”
Naruto took a sip of wine before continuing. “High school came, and both are still in denial. I was getting pretty tired of it. I mean, the sexual tension can be felt a mile away dattebayo! Anyways, they finally, finally, admitted that they loved each other a week after Sakura-chan was released from the hospital after a car accident. I mean, if it wasn’t for that near-death situation, I guess the two would be running in circles until now and I wouldn’t be having this speech.”
The blonde gave his two best friends a genuine smile. “You know, Sakura-chan, Sasuke was really worried about you that time. He didn’t leave your side, always holding your hand. When the two of you confessed to each other, I was the happiest man. Finally ‘ttebayo!”
Everyone laughed with him. “I’ve seen them fight, I’ve seen them angry at each other, and above all, I’ve seen how much they love each other. I believe you guys are meant to be together, and it is a great privilege to witness a love story like yours. Now, the two of you will continue the journey as husband and wife. Never forget that your family, friends, and especially myself will always support you guys. I’m your love story’s number one fan! Kakashi-sensei wants the title but there can only be one, right?” He raised his glass and smiled brightly. “Cheers to the newlyweds!”
Everyone cheered and raised their glasses for the couple. Later that night, the three went to the balcony of the function hall where the wedding reception fit for a fairytale was held. Sakura hugged Naruto tightly, saying, “Thank you for everything, Naruto.”
He grinned and included Sasuke in the hug. “Anything for you guys. As long as you name one of your children after me, okay?”
“In your dreams, dobe.”
They released the hug, and Naruto looked at the radiant smiles of his best friends. “Be happy together, okay?”
Sasuke placed an arm around his wife’s shoulders. “Of course,” both answered simultaneously.
The newlyweds looked at each other lovingly, and their blonde friend smiled with them – knowing that their happily ever after is as certain as their love for each other.
SasuSaku Month 2017
Day 22: An Outsider’s Point of ViewKarin woke up startled, the crying of the newest Uchiha heir
could be heard all across the base, it was the fifth time that night that she’d
been woken up by the noise of her crying. She made her way to their room ready
to be of some help to Sakura who had to be beyond tired after having giving
birth and having to take care of her newborn daughter.Karin didn’t expect Sasuke to be of much help, remembering
clearly the cold Sasuke back from Team Takka. It was a surprise when she paused
outside their room and from the semi open door saw as Sasuke took Sarada away
from Sakura’s arms and into his.Sakura explained in a tired voice how to properly hold the
baby, but Sasuke seemed to know how to do it. His hold was firm but gentle as
he rocked her tenderly in his arms humming what appeared to be a lullaby.Sakura smiled from the bed as she watched her husband, her
eyes held none of the shock of Karin’s own expression as she looked at the
scene from a distance. The man in the room was a stranger to her.
In no time at all the Uchiha princess in his arms stopped
crying and softly he set her down in the little crib they had made for her.Karin was about to walk away, clearly she wasn’t needed, but
then she saw as Sasuke walked over to his wife and placed a hand on her cheek.
Sakura leaned in to the touch. Karin felt as if she was intruding and walked
away, but as she did she heard Sasuke speak to Sakura, “I love you.” and those
words resonated around the base and followed her to her own room.
An Outsider’s Point of View
Characters: Sasuke/Sakura
I wrote this because for whatever reason I just couldn’t get this scenario out of my head. I don’t even know if there’s a particular inspiration for Sasuke’s role or his music. I listened to a lot of Tyler, the Creator’s new album, which is beautiful by the way, because it has a lot of the slower, sweeter vibe I was going for. Majid Jordan’s great too, they’re currently my favorite in the music scene. He’s even got a little bit of that Drake in him in this (ala Hold On We’re Going Home) although imagining Sasuke as Drake is hilarious.
The overbearing storm, completely and undeniably overwhelming in all other areas was watered out by the noise of the large venue.
Even with snugly placed ear plugs and her place behind the speakers, she was still able to hear the thunderous cheers and the sonic boom of the bass, but even those paled in comparison to the strong, steady timber of his voice, blaring through every single crevice of the stage.
He only stood a few feet away, but it was almost as if he were in a completely different reality. Purple and red lights encompassed the stage, bathing him in an ethereal glow. Even with the slight distance between them, she could see the beads of sweat rolling down the temples of his face, his neck, and down the muscles in his arm.
He was incredible, he was in his element. Staring at him on the stage, the statement was inevitable. He was born to do this.

warnings: i’m using the international system of units so for those who aren’t familiar with it, 15 m. is about 49 ft. also don’t take this piece too seriously i just went wild out of nowhere and i am just too lazy to changeIt was a case of in-the-wrong-place-at-the-wrong-time.
They hadn’t noticed him yet and Boruto prayed the gods to stay unnoticed because he knew a free pass to hell was waiting for him should he be discovered in the bushes.
He wasn’t supposed to be here, hiding in the bushes and watching them make out. In fact, he wasn’t supposed to watch at all—but Boruto couldn’t keep his eyes away from them. He was drawn to them.
And he felt absolutely like a pervert.
And a voyeur.
Luckily—or unluckily, whether the reader is feeling lewd or not, there were at least a good fifteen metres separating him from the couple so he couldn’t see their faces clearly, but auntie Sakura’s pink hair and uncle Sasuke’s black cloak were unmistakable.
It was just a peck, at first. It had been so innocent that Boruto fought back the urge to snicker when he saw it. Instead, his lips stretched into a mischievous smile as he watched Sakura tug on Sasuke’s cloak, pulling his head downward so that she could kiss him softly on the mouth.
So ingenuous, so chaste.
But that all changed when the Fire Na—
(SORRY. WRONG SHOW.
It could have worked, though.)
Ahem.
—But that all changed when Sasuke attacked.
His hand caught her waistband before she could step away and he pulled her against him. If at first, Sakura had seemed surprised, she quickly responded to his enthusiast by looping her arms around his neck, tangling her fingers through his black hair.
(From his spot, it looked like she was pulling at his hair rather fiercely and knowing Sakura’s ridiculously beastly strength, Boruto was quite afraid Sasuke would go bald.
And what a letdown that would be.)
He watched as Sasuke’s hand drifted from Sakura’s waistband to her bare midriff, stroking the flesh with his thumb and judging from the breathy moans and quiet groans he could hear whenever their lips parted, they seemed to be really into it.
Boruto was into it, too.
Therefore, when they disappeared in a puff of smoke two minutes later, Boruto felt strangely disappointed. It wasn’t really educational—not that it was supposed to be—but it was raw and oddly fascinating. He’d seen his parents smooching before and it grossed him out but that was probably because it was his parents and Sakura and Sasuke were totally a different matter… or maybe not.
Boruto considered what happened very slowly.
He’d been watching them make out.
Hidden in the bushes.
So he was a voyeur; he could live with that.
But that was his master. His dad’s best friends.
His childhood friend’s parents.
Oh.
Sarada’s parents.
Oh.
Shit.
HOLY—
.
.
He could never face Sarada again.
SS Month Day 22: An outsider’s point of view.
