Note: Takes place after Sasuke comes back from his redemption journey; so think of this taking place after Sakura Hiden.
It’s been 1 week since Sasuke returned home, and he still has no idea what exactly it is he came back for. He remembers Sakura’s radiant smile greeting him when she said “Welcome home Sasuke-kun”, as he entered the village gates. For some strange reason, he was glad it was just her waiting for him.
Right now the last Uchiha was eating a bowl of spicy chicken ramen at Ichiraku’s with the Hokage in training.
“I’m still bummed at you for not showing up at my wedding.” Naruto slurps down his third bowl of miso pork ramen.
“You know why I didn’t choose to come.” Sasuke points out.
“I know, but that doesn’t mean I can’t be mad at you.” Naruto gulps down the last of his ramen broth.
“…By the way Naruto, where…would Sakura be at this time of day?” He inquires as he stands up and pays for both of their meals to Ayame.
“Probably at the Children’s Clinic… I think.” He responds uncertain, and then sees Sasuke run in a flash.
“Go woo her man.” Naruto chuckles and wishes the best the for both of his best friends. “They better become something more than just friends soon.” Naruto quietly mumbles to himself.

Title: we’ll be alright this time
Summary: This is how Sasuke Uchiha falls in love.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Naruto.
Prompt: First Love
Rating: K
A/N: It’s ssmonth guys sobs. I’m a lil late but it’s ok.
It starts in the hospital, the first week
into his return. Sasuke is bedridden, confined to a too-white room, still
bruised in blacks and blues—but the worst of his wounds have healed for the
most part, courtesy of Sakura’s gentle healing hands.Sakura.
She’s here a lot, he realizes, as each day
passes by; not just with him, but in the halls of the hospital and the adjacent
rooms, too, treating tired shinobi wounded in war and still-frightened
civilians trying to recover from it all. The smile to her lips never ceasing,
she doesn’t seem to miss out on any pressing matter, doesn’t actually seem to
leave these walls at all—and if Sasuke didn’t so often catch her dozing in the
armchair at his bedside, he might even think she never sleeps, either. And yet, despite her busy schedule, Sakura
always finds the time to offer him a visit every day.Something in him softens at the thought.
“You’re healing very well, Sasuke-kun,” she
says to him, one day, as time dictates it necessary to have his bandages
changed yet again. “I’m actually pretty surprised. Are you sure you don’t have
a hidden tailed beast somewhere inside you helping to patch you up?”The query is a teasing one—something that
Sasuke has yet to grow used to, when it comes to Sakura. She’d always been so
shy when it came to him, Sasuke remembers from their years before, so sweet and
pure, and eager to impress him; whatever brashness she held inside had only
ever been expressed with anger towards their blond best friend whenever he did
something she didn’t like—which was often. But the woman that stands here
before him now is different, despite in some ways still being the same; kind,
and bright, she smiles and jibes playful remarks, seemingly unafraid to make a
fool of herself… or, perhaps, driven with a confidence that she can make him
smile, too.Sasuke honestly doesn’t know what to say
about that.
SasuSaku Month, Day 1: First Love
A/N: Lol woops sorry this is a day late, but I definitely wanted to participate in at least a few prompts for SS month! Hopefully you guys like it!
Sasuke clearly remembers the day Sakura told him she was pregnant.
They had been traveling together through a small, unmemorable town in Land of Wind. They’d walked through the shopping areas, picking up necessities and replacing their worn down items. Sometimes they’d take care of their errands together, other times they’d just separate naturally, always managing to find one another once they’d completed their tasks. On this particular day, Sasuke had seen Sakura walk into a seamstress shop, emerging with nothing about a half hour later. He’d thought that a bit strange at the time, but didn’t deem it worth asking about. Once she’d successfully located him, they’d left together.
They’d then spent a week in Wind making their way through the desert, as they’d had some business to take care of in Suna. Their last night in the desert together, they’d been sitting near the fire that Sasuke had built, deciding to take a quick break to eat before making it to the hidden village by morning.
“Sasuke-kun, is it okay if I have some clothes tailored while we’re in Suna?”
They had only recently married in the past few months, so Sakura continued to ask his approval, though she knew she didn’t need it. They both had reasonable desires, which meant that were no outlandish requests either of the,m had to say no to.
“Sure, if you happen to find the time to,” was his response.
“Well actually,” she started, “I was hoping you’d come with me.” She smiled at him sweetly, her eyes telling him she wanted him to say yes.
This was definitely strange. He raises his eyebrow slightly, encouraging her to explain.
SasuSaku Month 2017, day 1 prompt: First Love
A little late, and different from what I’d initially planned, but I’m posting it anyway before I change my mind! A bit rushed, so please don’t mind typos or eventual corrections.
When Sasuke
was lost in his thoughts, his feet always had a tendency to take him where he
needed to be.Tonight he roamed
the darkened streets of Konohagakure, aimlessly – a rare occurrence, for Sasuke’s
wanderings always had a purpose. But there are, as they say, exceptions to the
rule.He’d spent
the last couple of years atoning for what he’d done in the past, and working
out his feelings. Working out what he felt of himself, what he felt of the
Village of the Leaf, his family, his brother – what it all had meant. His past
bonds, forever entrenched in his very being, had nevertheless left room for new
ones to be formed, despite his struggles to cut them off.In the
months following the Fourth Ninja War, he had allowed himself time to let these
relationships mend and repair, grow and thrive, patching them up in his own way
and at his own pace. With Naruto and Kakashi things were relatively straightforward;
and somehow, he’d managed to convince himself that the same applied to Sakura. He looked
down at his own feet, at the miles they’d ran; away from home, around the world
in search of himself, and then back again. He looked and tried to picture how
many miles longer lay ahead. But mostly, he looked and wondered what it would
be like to see a second set of footprints trailing the same path as he. A
second shadow against the moonlight, or keeping his company beneath the
streetlamps.Much to his
disapproval, his heart did something akin to a flutter. Sasuke clicked his
tongue at this most uncalled for reaction; if they were to travel together,
Sakura and he, he’d better have a better grip on himself. When he
looked to see where he stood, he furrowed his brow at the sight of the familiar
building. Sasuke let out a deep breath and turned the opposite direction,
walking away from the Haruno household in determined steps.
Two Weeks
Summary:
Two weeks from now, Sasuke Uchiha will fall in love for the first time in his eighteen years.

Day 2: Something More
***
I didn’t plan on writing today because I felt that my first prompt, Utakata Hanabi, took up my quota of creativity for now. But then inspiration hit me when I remembered today’s prompt while washing the dishes >///< This is my first time to write in second person, and I don’t know if I should pursue it. I guess my first time in joining SS month is also a bunch of firsts for me ❤
It’s again posted at FF 🙂
***
You couldn’t look at her. No. Her tears will only make you
waver. But her words… they are almost like a jutsu that makes you
want to stay. You remember everything despite your denial. You will always
remember every moment with the people dear to you.She offers to make your life happier if you don’t go, but then
you remember Itachi… and your own weakness. Your path is different from theirs.
You already set your heart on revenge, and no one can stop you – not even her.No, she doesn’t deserve to be tainted with your darkness.
And as she tries to stop you, you went to her back, all in a
blink of an eye. You tried to deny it, but you like being close to her. Loneliness
starts to disappear when she’s around. In these precious seconds before you
leave, you bask in her warmth – the warmth she always radiates. The warmth that your stone-cold heart needed but stubbornly refused.
“Sakura… arigatou…” is all you can say. You want to tell her
more, but suddenly words fail to form. And as you put her to sleep, you caught her, causing both of
you to fall to the ground. You hold her close to your heart, for you are afraid
this might be the last. And as you leave her unconscious on the bench, you held
her hand one last time.As you left the village, all bonds do not exist anymore for
you. Not even your bond with Sakura – the girl who cried when you nearly died,
the girl who stopped you from being consumed with darkness. The girl who loves you.
You two are now just former teammates, after all.
Nothing more.
***
As you proclaim your plans of a revolution, you saw her shocked
face.Puzzled. Almost disappointed.
When you turned your back to leave, she called out to you,
saying that she never thought you’d turn out like this. Without even looking,
you know tears are flowing down her cheeks once again. It seems like you always
make her cry. That thought somewhat made a small pinch inside you. Of all people, she doesn’t deserve to cry. Not her.You couldn’t turn around now… her tears will make your
resolve wither. She has that effect on you. It’s a power that is special to
her. Ever since. She asked if she still had a place in your heart even just a
little. Of course. She will always be one of your precious people, even if you
deny it a thousand times to yourself. When she begged you not to go for the second time, you
remember that night all those years ago, and you stopped. She really does has
an effect on you. How annoying, you mused. Before anyone could react, you cast a genjutsu on her. She
can’t stop you now.You two are just strangers with memories, after all.
Nothing more.
***
When you came back to the village, she was there to welcome
you with open arms and a smile that can rival the sun. That alone filled your
heart with warmth that reaches your soul. The weariness from your journey seems
to just disappear, now that she’s here.As she says “Okaeri, Sasuke-kun,” you gaze into her eyes,
greener than the fields in your travels and sparkles like the stars at night. A
small smile formed from your usually stoic face as you replied with “Tadaima,
Sakura.”You wondered to yourself, if this is what home feels like. It’s
been so long since you had that feeling, and you want to immerse yourself in
that again. But does she consider you as her home too?
You two are just friends with a special bond, after all.
And you know, deep in your heart – more than ever – you want
to turn it into something more.

Title: Boys Will be Boys

Summary: AU- They are at their high school reunion, and much for his dismay, a certain veterinarian won’t take his eyes off of her. They might have grown up, but some things won’t ever change.

A/N: Happy SasuSaku Month, everyone!! The biggest and most amazing event of our fandom has officially began, and I can’t wait to see what everyone has prepared! The themes this year are amazing and I’m sure we’re all gonna have so much fun celebrating our ship’s month together! I promise I’ll try not to take too long to finish this time (yeah, right) and I’ll do my best to give you the best fics I can write! Have fun, and don’t forget to tell me your opinion!

High School reunions have always been a bother for him. It’s one afternoon in 365 days where he has to reschedule his entire agenda so he can make it to a weird and noisy reunion that happens for no particular reason. It’s a day where he will meet old faces from people he was supposed to remember, and where the word ‘nostalgia’ will be said at least 10 times per minute. People will pretend like they actually miss each other and there’s always that one person who says— but doesn’t really mean— that they should all keep in touch.
How annoying, he thought, with his arms crossed over his chest. Annoying and utterly unnecessary.
With his characteristic, stoic expression spread all over his face, Uchiha Sasuke was standing on the furthest corner of that saloon, watching everything from afar and trying to figure out a way to make time pass by faster. He had tried paying attention to the conversations, giving up, eventually, after realizing everyone was talking about who married who, and what happened to that one kid no one truly remembers.
Unbelievable, he sighed, as his dark eyes drifted around, eventually spotting the one, familiar face, whose name could never be forgotten due to the unnecessary amount of time they meet every week.
Just to make matters worse.

a/n: unbeta’ed as always. pre-shippudenSasuke is no stranger to affection. It’s easy to forget that, now that the Uchiha clan is buried in a deserted cemetery, but there was a time when Sasuke did not shy away from the warm touch of a hand, or the fleeting softness of a kiss, or the sharp poke of two callused fingers.
The day I fell for you…
A/N: Damn! My life has been so hectic that I totally forgot about the SasuSaku Month. I’m a bit late to write something new for day 1, so here is an old SasuSaku Poetry of mine, Written from Sasuke’s P.o.V.
ENJOY!
Confessions of an Avenger
#1: The day I fell for you…
It all started with my curt statement
And I did not care if my words were poignant.
“You are annoying.”
I had said and left you aching
because sentiments were a remarkable obstacle.
They were turning me into a debacle.
So I pushed them aside, to tread on my road to
revenge. For the annihilation of my clan—I’ll avenge!
Still…on that one particular day.
My body moved in its own way.
To save that idiotic, brother-like teammate of
mine. And felt life seeping out of me, leaving me pine.
“I cannot die.” I made my declaration.
Without any speck of hesitation.
All of a sudden life started hitting back.
Even that extreme agony was taken aback.
I heard your cries, ringing in my ears.
And felt every single trail of your tears.
My name is Sasuke Uchiha. I hate a lot of things
and don’t particularly like anything.
But when I opened my eyes and looked at your face,
the hurt in your expression made my heart race.
For the first time I had felt nostalgic.
The touch of your embrace was so ecstatic.
“I was so scared.” I heard your voice like a chime
and the feeling of being needed by you became
prime.I knew you’ll go through a lot and suffer just
because of me.But for mending my scarred soul, you and I are
destined to become we.As the moment you hugged me, I reconciled with an
old emotion. And your name got etched on my heart with sincere
affection.Yes, it was the day my feelings brew.
It was the day I fell for you…
A/N: So that was it for day 1: First Love.
Hope you guys enjoyed reading it..:3

PROSPECTIVE PARTNERS I (SASUKE)
Tired after a long day of meetings, Uchiha Sasuke, president of the Uchiha Corporation threw his briefcase onto the enormous desk of his office and sighed, pulling at his tie while plopping down unceremoniously on his chair. His head was throbbing uncomfortably, the prelude of a massive headache.
